I tried last week to upload this photo with others of Ladder Street Terrace numbered 1-4 that I took in 2014, but I think the titles were too similar and I didn't succeed with this one. I've changed the title. The building shown is not the original building and even those shown have since been knocked down, I gather. My great-grandfather, John Olson lived in number 1 with his family until about 1897. His friend Louis Kirchmann lived in number 4 till his death. After the Olsons moved to Caine Road, my grandfather Charles Warren lived here. My uncle Leslie Warren and my aunt Evelyn Warren were born here. The property was inherited by John Olson jnr in 1918 when his father died. If I have uploaded this photo on a previous occasion, please delete. Panoramio had a similar photo, but it apparently can't any more be accessed. Ah technology!
