I would like to know please where this shot from the 1974 film "James Bond - The Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed. The plot of the scene takes place in Macau, but there are rumours that the scene was filmed at Tai Po Market, Fu Shin Street, New Territories. Is there anything in the screenshot from the film that suggests Tai Po? Thanks a lot!

'Man with Golden Gun' - Macau or Hong Kong
Roger Moore ( as James Bond) is seen riding in a pedicab (a tricycle) which were common in Macau at that time. Hong Kong never licensed this type of hired public vehicle for passengers although there was a cargo-carrying version on which the driver sat behind a red-coloured boxed cargo compartment, unlike the passenger pedicabs on which the driver sat in front. Hong Kong had its two-wheeled red rickshaws. It is unlikely that the film’s directors would have gone to trouble of shipping a pedicab over from Macau to Hong Kong when they could conveniently easily film such a scene much cheaper in Macau. One web site. which lists Bond filming locations, claims the Macau street scenes were along the narrow streets in the vicinity of the former floating ‘Casino de Macau, ( later renamed the ‘Casino Macau Palace.)
Macau
I would add that another thing that rules out TaiPo is the fact that the road on screen is much narrower than Fu Shin Street in Tai Po and more inline with the small streets around the inner harbour of Macau.
