Portuguese Fishergirl Dance

I performed this solo dance as part of Carol Bateman's Mother Goose production that was held at the Lee Theatre in Causeway Bay around 1954.  Some of the dancers had photos taken in full costume at photographer Francis Wu's studio in the Gloucester Building.  I had a total of four different poses taken.  My mother, Belle Reed, made my costume and attached a few large plastic silver fish to the basket I held during the dance.  Unfortunately,  I somehow lost or misplaced the programs of this Mother Goose production and the other ballet production of Miss Bateman's that I was in after that.
