Directly above the clock tower near the race course almost central in the picture are what looks like HKEC staff housing. there are 3 levels with the top level slightly larger that the 2 below.
There are hill retaining slopes between top and middle and middle and lower. If my memory serves me well there was a third between lower andt he road leading up to the 3 levels. This may be hidden by the trees covering the road which I remember as being "Flame of the Forest trees"
These are memories from my time there in late 40's early 50' while I was attending QBS primary.
