  • HKCCCU Pok Fu Lam Road Cemetery, Victoria Road
  • (陳奉揚*) Chan Feng-yang's tombstone is on the left of (王澤民 / 王世恩) Wong Sai-Yan's tombstone in the picture

*  As I have collected the only surviving copy of the first annual commemorative report issued by The Hong Kong Nurses and Midwives Association in December 1941, I found out that the person in the photo and the photo on the tombstone are the same. This helped me solve the mystery that ‘Wong Chan Shi’ (王陳氏) is actually ‘Chan Feng-yang’ (陳奉揚).

  1. ‘ Wong ’ ‘ 王 ’ represents her husband's surname ‘ Wong ’ in Chinese.
  2. ‘ Chan ’ ‘ 陳 ’ represents her surname ‘ Chan ’ in Chinese.
  3. ‘ Shi ’ ‘ 氏 ' represents the Chinese character for surname in Chinese.
