The Stanley Hotel (left) was situated along Stanley Main Street, adjacent to Ma Hang. The art deco building was demolished around the mid-1960’s and replaced by the Sea and Sky Court apartments during 1966.
The original image was captured by 吳灞陵. Active between the 1950's and the 1970's, Mr Ng Bar Ling (1904 –1976) was a keen hiker, photographer, and author of publications about hiking. He was News Editor of the Chinese language publication, Wah Kiu Yat Bo (Overseas Chinese Daily).
