Shun On wrecked in the 1936 typhoon

Stephen Kentwell (Steamer Ship-owning Companies | Oldchinaships.com) asked me about the location of the wrecked ship Shun On. He knew it was near Lai Chi Kok. In a newspaper clipping I found some time ago from China Mail from 1936-08-17 it is referred that it was at the pier near Laichikok Prison.

I've uploaded this image some time ago from Flickr, but the year given there was 1937. As old Flickr photos cannot be edited, here's a new upload.
