This brochure from Mildred Dibden to supporters in 1965 announced the news that Shatin Children's Home was to be divided into two separate establishments, the Home which became High Rock House, and a primary school named High Rock Christian School. This was because some 50 of the children had been adopted into homes overseas in New Zealand and the USA and no more babies were to be taken in. That particular role was being taken over by the HK Government. The freed-up space was repurposed as a primary school.
