1936 Markree Refractor

The telescope has an interesting connection to the Observatory's first Director, Dr. W. Doberck who had previously worked at the Makree Observatory, in Sligo, Ireland. A photo of Doberck using the refractor at Markree Observatory in the late 1870s here
