An interesting story worthy of being the basis of a 1950s British black & white ' hero' movie.
It has it all, a beaten-up 1912 Scottish-built tramp-steamer, Old China-Hand Captain who was also a Stanley Camp internee, a violent multi-national mutinous crew and two typhoons.
The newsprint is just readable as the microfilm transfer process has highlighted all the original newsprint print deficiencies.
