On the right there is the signal station in TST. How about all these buildings in front ? Is that the area where the Kowloon Shangri La Hotel stands today ?
At bottom edge, from right to left runs Granville Road. The diagonal road in the foreground which appears to lead to Signal Hill is Carnarvon Road. Ocean View Court is not in the photo which indicates the photo was taken some time before 1957.

TST East was still water when this was taken. I think the area was reclaimed in the 1970s.

Probably taken from the Miramar Hotel looking down Carnarvon Road towards Signal Hill.
