Looking through all my uploaded photos, thanks to my friends in the forum nearly all have been identified, I sent this postcard home to my parents in Apr. 1957, but where in Hong Kong is it? All the rear of photo says is- Business section of Hong Kong.
Have now uploaded all my 1957/58 photos relating to my time as a National serviceman in Hong Kong and would like thank you all who have commented and identified them, bringing back memories long forgotten. Do have photos taken on troopships stopovers to Hong Kong and return to England, even though they are not of Hong Kong, if they are of interest to anyone will be happy upload them. —Many thanks to everyone.—- Bryan Panter.

Hi There,

I am more incline to believe this was somewhere in Yau Ma Ti.  We shoudl be able to look up the business signs somehow.  The relative far away skyline also suggest edit was not on the Island.  Exact location is still a big question mark but it should be along somewhere along Portland Street\Shanghai Street\Reclamation Street facing north.

Is there any more photos before or after this one? If so the sequence of the photos may also provide clues.

It's Temple Street facing north, between Ningpo and Saigon Streets. Barely located a furniture shop and a drugstore on each side.
