A misty morning probably in early 1955, and the Chai Wan fishing fleet is struggliong to make home on such a windless day. The camp was still only partly built. The front balcony of the Officers' and Sergeants' Mess is being enclosed at the corner of the building, and on the mid right the Station Headquarters' building foundations are about to be laid. The just discerible pimple on the small headland above the Officers' Mess is possibly the ornate turrent of Pill Box 37.
