The camp had its own radio station 'Radio Sai Wan', which broadcast over the tannoy speakers installed in all the accommodation rooms and the N.A.A.F.I. Each evening volunteer disc jockeys played a mixture of pop songs (mainly), classical music, short stories and relays from Radio Hong Kong and the B.B.C.. Requests for recordings of the latest pop songs were very popular, but requesting items for the N.C.O.s was banned after there were some complaints!
