Greetings, and thanks Klaus for this photo. I have been wondering where exactly Ling Ding Island was relative to today's shoreline. It appears to be at the current Hong Kong international Terminal building. It was a favourite stop for boaters who ventured outside the bay as far as Kwai Chung then undeveloped called Lap Sap Wan. The wonders on the tiny outcrop were small crabs and fish trapped by low tides. Regards, Peter
You can just make out a couple of the buildings of the old Lai Chi Kok hospital on the small hillock lower far right hand side. It's now the Jao Tsung-I Academy.
