Big photo by Ming Yuen Studio which was sent "with best compliments" to my grandfather Pieter Marks. On the right hand bottom corner it is signed "Yours sincerely S(omething) Patmore or Patman (?) 28-1-1927". My grandfather (from the Netherlands) was employed by the Hong Kong agency of the Dutch India (or better: East Indies) Commercial Bank (the 'Nederlandsch-Indische Handelsbank') and left Hong Kong for leave back to the Netherlands in 1927 or 1928, to return to Singapore in 1928 or 1929.
