The student sitting next to Prof.Smith is my late father in law, Ignatius Tang Sze-Wing. He was a high school student at St. Joseph’s. Went to HKU. Later went to Germany for more Engineering training. Came back to China & worked for the government in Canton. When the Japanese was invading , he moved to HK & then Malaya eventually. He became very successful as a developer but passed away at the young age of 59.
