This is a detail of the larger plan of the 1842-c.1850 Stanley Cantonment. What is perhaps of some interest is the ABSENCE of the Shui Shing Temple, noted on the AMO website as dating from 1805, but here not mapped. Collinson was a very thorough surveyor and, as you can see, more or less where the Shui Shing Temple now stands he has a survey datum.
