Captioned: 'Sisters Qtrs. My room faces front. arrow to room that was Isa's since she came back from leave, now Meg Wilson has it with an adjoining sittup [sic] Isa ... [erased] Sister.' The photo did not say it was Kowloon Hospital but on KH website I recently found an almost identical picture from same angle but with mature trees, named as P Block Kowloon Hospital, dated 2013 - not sure if okay to use as copyright to Baycrest. The hospital site says redevelopment continues so it may too have gone. Circa 1935/6? I think my grandmother and great-aunt (Isa) went to work in Queen Mary's (opened 1937?) as have two pics of QM and sisters' quarters.

P Block
Although the focus of this heritage assessment as viewed here is on M Block, P Block and a general view of the surrounding area can be seen in old photos, maps and diagrams.
wow, loads to go at here
wow, loads to go at here thanks - in awe of how you come up with all this, more thanks. Do you know how much of it remains?
Re: P Block
I think the exterior of P Block remains the same. Some photos of Kowloon Hospital as seen here
Heartening to see that some
Heartening to see that some of old HK worth preserving - and that my Gran and Auntie's old quarters now considered of architectural merit! Also love the beautuful trees - a friend's relative living in HK was going to try to check this out for me but think family illness has prevented - thanks again, I have much reading to do
Sisters Quarters Kowloon Hospital
I am doing a heritage research work on Sisters Quarters, Block P of Kowloon Hospital. Want to know more on the nurse and story of the building
Sisters Quarters Kowloon Hospital
Not quite sure I can add much more than already here. The two nursing sisters mentioned are Isa Warbrick (my great-aunt) and Meg Wilson who was a colleague of Isa's and Isa's blood sister, Joan (Martha Jane) Staple (nee Warbrick) who was my grandmother. I think more of the history of the building is provided above by Moddsey who gives a date of 1934 which would fit with when my grandmother and great-aunt were living there
