Thanks T, that's good to know. Does it mean that Cheung Chau used to have the same sort of shrimp paste businesses we can still see at Tai O?

Hi David,

I believe so.  Hugh just started a piece in his site concerning Industry in Cheung Chau.  Might have some information there after all.

Remember we bought some chilled herbal tea from an old lady the other day?  She also produce homemade sun dried shrimps.  We were just standing a few steps from her latest batch.  It would seem she would start a new batch everyday.

She asked us if we wanted to buy some but we have ignored her.  Maybe I'll try some next time.
