Andrew about to go in for a swim. In those days the sea was really clean, the only worry being not to tread on any sea urchins when scrambling out. Getting the brittle spines out of your feet was a painful and often bloody business. One day as I dived off one of these rocks a beautiful but deadly yellow bellied sea snake swam away from beneath me. After that I always had a good look before taking the plunge.
