The Texas Corporation
If you zoom in to the piece of paper (a cheque?) in the teller's right hand, the text across the top reads "The Texas Corporation". I assume the lady wearing pearls' husband was an executive with the company.
That name went out of use in 1941, they are better known as Texaco. To the left of the text you can see their logo, the star of Texas. It also appears in several of Forman's other photos, showing the Texaco gas station at the eastern junction of Hennessy & Johnston Roads [1, 2, 3, 4]. There is still a Texaco gas station there today.
