Taken in front of Police Flats Argyle St. Behind is the Army Camp. In the top right of the picture you can make out a slip road leading into the camp. There was an RASC Bakery there from which I would buy bread for my family. A full loaf was a long "tin" shape weighing 5 lbs and there were 5 divisions ion the loaf, and it was sold by the lb.
