Sorry if I misled anyone. The map I have is O/S series L 88 1957 through to L894 1969-1969 and this edition was published by MOD 1970. It is now a bit fragile and I am copying it in sections to preserve on my PC. I will post other sections if anyone is interested.
I served with the REME in the colony( 1952-53) and was stationed in the NT at Sek Kong adjacent to the airfield.

Interesting map, thanks for posting. There's not much of a road system at this time.
The date might be a bit later than 1952, as it shows Shek Pik Reservoir. Construction of that started in the late 50s.

According to Water Supplies Department and Legco, construction of Shek Pik Reservoir started in 1957 and completed in October 1963.

Koff, no problem. Please could you edit the original title above and change the date from 1952 to the date this map was published?
