First impressions. Looks like Caine Road. I think the distant building with Chinese characters is at the junction of the commencement of Caine Road and Arbuthnot Road. The hilly area appears to be Glenealy and on the right should be the path leading up to the western Botanical Gardens and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. The buildings on the right appear to be Catholic missions, convent etc

The brand still exist today.

This could be the corner of Ventris Road in Happy Valley. The retaining walls below the red Victorian terraces were similar to this.
