I guess one can get an approximate date from the school uniform? that the woman was wearing and the year and make of the taxi cab driving by...probably Fall if not Winter because of the Navy Blue uniform and the vest that the man was wearing...and the leaves on that tree....
The Taxi Cab is the iconic Toyota Crown Comfort. Models first rolled out from 19th December 1995. So this photo has to be 1996 or later.
Compare the size of the tree trunk to the right of the shelter from the tiny one in the opening photo and the more mature size in the 2025 Google street view. Probably the original photo was early 2000s.
The article that this image belongs to (linked underneath the image) was published in 2006. I imagine that's a good indicator of when the image was taken.

No, the Maryknoll school is in a different part of Kowloon, further to the north.
