The Salesians of Don Bosco are a Catholic religious congregation of priests and brothers founded by Saint John Bosco in 1859 to serve young people, especially the poor and marginalized, through education, youth ministry, and parish work in schools, universities, and communities worldwide. Inspired by Don Bosco's vision, the Salesians live as a "family" under vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, aiming to be signs of God's love and to form good Christians and honest citizens.
The Retreat House of the Salesian Brothers of the Catholic Church consists of a small chapel, eight activity rooms, one large dining hall, and 68 suites. The suite of buildings stands on the sites of and links original European Houses #19and #21. The local road takes its name from Saint John (Don) Bosco.
