She was christened Mary Gertrude Veronica Anne Butterfield but married Donald Evans. She was known in the family as "Bronnie". One other thing my grandfather, William Arthur Butterfield, was NOT the architect nor had he anything to do with Butterfield & Swire. He worked for the Asiatic Petroleum Company (Shell).
