I lived in Jubilee Buildings for a short while in 1958 when I was stationed at 50 Command Workshops and I recall a typhoon while we were there. I remember the LSTs used to moor there as we could hear them as we lived on the ground floor about 4 flats away. We moved to Hilsea Barracks in early 1959.
