- During her internment she suffered a broken arm and leg

- Sister Harrington and Baby Rolanda Jones appear in the lower portion of the Memorial Window at St. Stephen's Chapel, Stanley. Rolanda lost her father during the war and was born in the camp during a Japanese accidental air raid, helped into the world by Sister Harrington.
