Sister Harrington, who comes from Slade Green, Kent, nursed the sick internees in Stanley camp, Hong Kong. She is with Baby Rolanda Jones, aged 3 1/2. Rolanda lost her father during the war and was born in the camp during a Japanese accidental air raid, helped into the world by Sister Harrington. In addition to her nursing duties Sister Harrington served in the kitchens and helped at the camp wash tubs. During her internment she suffered a broken arm and leg
