Hi There,
There is likely a watch tower in a small village. Unlikely to be in Kowloon as the view towards the see is not right. I wonder if that is Hok Tsui.

Houses with steep sloping roof (keep the rain and snow off) and chimney - not Hong Kong!
Road winding to end of flat headland must go somewhere worthwhile...there are dangerous jagged rocks beyond the tip of the flat headland in the sea - precisely a place you would expect a lighthouse - and I believe there is one white tip pointing up just below the left hand edge of the rocks.
The sea off the coast looks miserable and cold.
I'm guessing the British Isles - probably Ireland, Scotland or thereabouts.
Kowloon?

Hi Daniel,
I've no idea where it is, but could you tell us what led you to initially think it might be Kowloon, e.g. was it together with other Kowloon pics, does it say something about Hong Kong on the back? Any little snippet of info about the background of the photo may help to place it.
This photo was listed together with many others from an photo album of an English Officer stationed in Hong Kong.
There was nothing written behind the photograph. Perhaps this particular photo was indeed mixed, unfortunately together with the others.
I agree it doesn't look quite like Hong Kong on the first impression. Therefore I thought I may ask if that could be part of Hong Kong. Many thanks for all your comments. Daniel

Unless further information can be provided, it is difficult to place it as a Hong Kong photo.

Flat headland with sparse vegetation - poor rain, salty sea spray, infertile soil, rocky, cold
