Benfica / Bemfica
"Bemfica", a large house with 11 rooms at No. 9 Robinson Road:
It appeared from other sources to have been spelt as "Benfica" as early as 1861. The spelling version "Bemfica" emerged from the late 1890s with an overlap of both versions in the late 1890s/early 1900s, with "Bemfica" as the preferred version from the first decade of the 1900s.
