1935: The company bought a 475 sq. m site on Castle Peak Road for HKD$10,000 to house the new factory.

1938: Operations transferred to the new 1,400 sq. m factory on Castle Peak Road. A contract was signed with the British HK government, appointing Garden as the major supplier of wartime army bakery goods.

We'll soon have to make that "1938-2021"
Scaffolding is up, so it looks like demolition is about to start. All that's scheduled to be saved are the clock and a couple of signs.

Folks,
Took this earlier today. On top of the nettings there appeared to be a declaration: "Revitalisation in progress, see you in mid-2022". I guess we shall see in a few months concerning what is going on there. A change or heart\change plan maybe?

It would seem the renovation is approaching completion. Most of the building is still undercover, but a small fraction is now visible.
