I've set the 'demolition' date to 1971, when the restaurant was gutted by a fire, though the burned-out wreck appears in photos from 1973 so it was a while before it was removed.
A second generation Jumbo Floating Restaurant was built as a replacement, and opened in 1976.

SCMP from 2020 reports that the first generation Jumbo never was operative. "However, while the vessel was being furnished in October 1971, a fire broke out which killed 34 people and left 42 injured". The fire occurred on the 30 October, 1971. Possibly construction started in 1970.
