You are probably correct. This photograph of David Hose was only recently discovered within a Hongkong Land photo album tooked away in a store room, it is also the only photograph of the property with the date 1921 on the rear and details of the Architects. I wonder if the reference to 1921 is a date it was built or aquired by Hongkong Land. Thanks
Also visible is the original Chung Yuen Electrical Co. store (founded in 1927, incorporated 1960) at 71 Des Voeux Road, Central next to David House on the left of the photo.
David House was on Marine Lot 381. According to the 1922 P.W.D. Report, the office block was completed in the same year. Mention is made of the ground floor of the building being occuped by the Fire Brigade until completion of the nearby Central Fire Station. This source indicates David House was demolished in 1963.
