SAILORS SAVE FOUR LIVES
Motor-car in Harbour
HONG KONG, Monday
British sailors dived into Hong Kong harbour yesterday and rescued two women and two men from a car which had plunged into the water.
Two other men, Mr. J. H. Roberts, manager of a British factory, and M. M. Genechaeff, a Russian, were trapped in the front seat and drowned.
Those saved were Mr. F. Stafford Smith, formerly of the British-American Tobacco Company, Mr. Peter Cathrew, of that company; and Mrs Roberts and Mrs E Davis.
