Margaret Mary Petersen was the second daughter of Christian Friedrich Wilhelm Petersen and his wife Mary Towamoy; baptized on December 4, 1887 - Chinese Congregation.
She married Henri Willem (Harry) Weyler on August 16, 1919 St. John's Cathedral, Kowloon. Her youngest sister Annie Bertha was bridesmaid.

Local and General News
The wedding was quietly solemnised on Saturday of Mr Henry William Weyler, Manager of the Netherlands India Commercial Bank, and Miss Mary Margaret Petersen, of the Station Hotel, Kowloon. The ceremony took place in the presence of a few friends at St Johns Cathedral Rve V. H. Copley Woyle officiating. Mr H Sieling gave the bride away, and Miss A Petersen, sister of the bride was bridesmaid. Mr G S D Hamel (Consul General for the Netherlands) was best man. The honeymoon is being spent at Macao."

Hi Susann. I am the granddaughter of Henri Weyler and Maggie Petersen-Weyler. My mother was raised in Shanghai along with her 3 siblings and always spoke of our Chinese heritage from her mothers side but we never knew much about her other than they lived in Hong Kong and that is where my grandmother Maggie grew up.
