The Lyon Light Shelter for PB 30 is at the end of a walled path that starts at the right rear corner of the PB (as viewed from the front), www.gwulo.com/node/17753 refers. I don't know what the structure in your photo is, but I had previously wondered (without any evidence whatsoever) if the structure behind it (your photo at www.gwulo.com/atom/36037) was an early version of a lifeguard lookout position. I seem to recall that there is a vaguely similar structure on the rocks on the opposite side of the bay
