Watermarks and Copy-Protection Overprints
If subscribers are going to post photographs on this site for the supposed "benefit" of readers to enjoy, they could at least provide a high resolution image and not paste massive intrusive red-typed overprints bang in the centre of the picture ( as in the photograoh above). It is a complete waste of our time looking at these.
One of this sites greatest contributors , "moddsey" is very good . He provides good quality images and doesn't spoil the images with annoying massive watermarks.

Sorry, that's not the way this site works. My goal is to encourage more people to contribute and join in the discussions, so I'm happy to accept variations in watermarks and resolution.
Taking the above photo as an example, it was a valuable addition to the site at a time when we were trying to work out where the Kennedy Town Police Station was located.
You first emailed me about your dislike of watermarks back in 2011 so I know it's something you feel strongly about, but we'll have to agree to disagree on that subject.
Agreed, no argument there!
