Brick Hill Massacre
If I recall correctly. The Japanese advanced up Brick Hill following their capture of Wong Nai Chung Gap and subsaquent sweep into the costal areas of the South Side of Hong Kong. As mentioned in Rob's notes, the position was a HAA Battery and was overrun on the 25th. The remaining members of the Hong Kong Singapore Royal Artillery at the position surrendered, whereupon their commanding officer and 8 other men were killed. Many of whom by bayonetting.
Some buildings of the Brick Hill Battery may still remain in OP
There are some pillboxes and other structures in the area between Ocean Theatre and Pacific Pier in Ocean Park. Maybe they were formerly part of the Brick Hill AA Battery? One of them is part of a fastfood outlet while some are used as storage. Maybe experts here can help to confirm thier identities.
The following 2 picture shows a tunnel like structure that cuts into the rock? Was that part of the battery? It is right next to the lower section of the Ocean Theatre.
The following picutres include a number of pillboxes. They're next to Pacific Pier.

I remember seeing these two buildings:
I also thought they were originally British military buildings - probably the shelters that Rob describes: https://gwulo.com/node/3813
I'm not sure about the tunnels or the blue building on the hilltop though.
