Building in the distance
Hi Klaus,
We shouldn't be able to see Kornhill from here. It would be out of sight beyond the ridge in the distance, and off to the right.
Instead, I think the building is on the ridge leading north from Braemar Hill down to the sea. Old maps (eg map 1913.1) show there was a police station on the hillside there, so I wonder if that's what the building was?

after checking the old map I think you're right. I thought the comment on Flickr was correct, but obviously it wasn`t - I will remove the place. I'm only wondering of the size of the building; it seems quite big for a police station.
