These maybe what's being called 'noodle boats' in the area. A few years ago they appeared to be still a couple of them. One of them may have come ashore last year on the Apleichau side and opened a shop.
These 'Noodle boats' would shuttle around the shelter for business. Back in those days they may be a certain way to summon them. The modern day version, if they still exist, likely has a cell phone number somewhere.
