Some 50 years ago. Thinking it is a Swissair Convair CV990 aircraft. Hong Kong International Airport at Kai Tak closed on 5 July 1998. The current airport at Chek Lap Kok opened 20 years ago today.

Swissair CV990...I remember them well,belching smoke from the engines on take-off.They did the HKG-ZRH route during the 60s.
