Rummanging through the NSW Archives seeking early photos of Australians who spent time in HK, I found this photo of my dad, Alfred Ernest Ablong (Snr) and the Royal Engineers team South China Command HK as dated 1913. My dad is in the white suit front row.

Ablong family
Great photo. My father, David Bottomley, had a great friend and golf buddy called Len "Gibby" Gibson. They were both with HK Electric. Len's mother's maiden name was Ablong and I believe also had Australian connections. I wonder if he is related to your Ablong family?
