My grandmother M.G. Marks-Groot (1892-1979) had written (in Dutch) on the back of this photo: "Part of the old Chinese wall around the oldest part of the Chinese-city of Kowloon". From left to right one Mrs. De Kant, my grandmother, and one mrs. Ricardo (sister-in-law of Mrs. De Kant from Makassar). February 1926.
