King Yin Lei on Stubbs Road as seen here was completed around 1937. The original name of the mansion was Hei Lo. On the grounds of the mansion resides a not often seen drain cover from C. E. Warren & Co. Probably the Company did the drainage and plumbing for the mansion.

CE Warren & Co. Ltd. drain cover
Thank you, moddsey, for sharing this extraordinary memento of my grandfather's and uncle's company. I wonder if there are any other such drain covers stamped with the company name. CE Warren & Co became a limited company after 1918. I knew that Leslie Warren had designed the bathroom for Eucliffe Castle and presumably the drains as well, but I hadn't known about any other private work. I'm going to have to keep my eyes on the ground in Hong Kong. Is King Yin Lei open to the public?
Best regards,
Jill
Re: King Yin Lei
The mansion is a heritage building and is now receiving visitors on selected open days.

That's extremely kind. I look forward to it.
