Hargreaves Milne Howell was my father.  I was born in Hong Kong in 1952.  He died in Hong Kong of a stroke in August 1966 on the way to Kai Tak airport.  My mother, Carolyn Howell (Carol Bateman) and my oldest friend Janey Watson (Dr. George Watson's youngest daughter) were in the car ith him when it happened.
