Not often seen in photographs. Prince Edward Road West near the Kai Tak developments, mostly demolished by the Japanese in 1942 to extend Kai Tak Airport. The building at the end of the road I presume is Kowloon City Police Station or government offices. Corrections invited.

Confirmed the building was the Kowloon City Police Station which I believe was destroyed during the war.

my bus to school passed by that spot in 1957 and, though not for sure, I saw this building already vacated. If correct, demolition took place a year or two later. So long time ago, my memories ...

The original Kowloon City Police Station (built at the same time as Sham Shui Po Police Station) was located at the western tip of the Kai Tak Bund as seen here The area where the station once stood was used for the expansion of Kai Tak Airport during the war years.
