Presumably Dr Nicol C. Mcleod.

Came to Hong Kong from Uganda in the early 1940s. Acted as Deputy Director Medical and Health Services.

As well as the boy involved in the accident he had a daughter Janet ('youngest of three', so another child too.

I can't find this family in the Hong Kong Kong War Diary lists, but there is a 'Mr Mcleod' there, but without family, so this identification isn't certain, but seems likely (see entry for Janet Christie).

The HKGRO confirm the spelling 'Macleod' and show he was appointed Deputy Director of Health Services w/e from November 13, 1939.

His middle name was Campbell.

In 1940 he was appointed Deputy Registrar or Births and Deaths, an Official J. P., and a Member of the Nutrition Research Committee.
